Rotafix® export their products world-wide; this page displays full colour images of the work undertaken in a bridge strengthening and repair process undertaken with Rotafix® resins on the Tourand Creek Bridge in Manitoba, Winnipeg in 1999.

Typical bridge span before routing operation. Each beam is 10m long
Routing operation in process. 4 chases each 15mm x 15mm in the underside of each beam. A total of 1600 linear metres.
Routing completed on all 40 beams
Mixing 3 litre packs of Rotafix® CB10TSS (replaced by Rotafix Structural Adhesive)
10mm diameter epoxy glass Rotaflex Rods each 10m long protected in cling film until final installation
Installing first layer of CB10TSS (replaced by Rotafix Structural Adhesive)
Installing Rotaflex Rods which self adhere to the CB10TSS (replaced by Rotafix Structural Adhesive)
Stapling the rod into the channel at 1 metre
Cleaning away any excess CB10TSS (replaced by Rotafix Structural Adhesive) and checking that the channels are completely filled and there are no air pockets
The underside of the bridge prior to any work being carried out.
4 x 16mm grooves routed into the underside of each beam.
The grooves were then filled with Rotafix Structural Adhesive, and levelled flush with the underside of the stringer.
