Testing of Timber
10 metre long 600mm deep, 200mm wide Douglas Fir beam. Exactly as used on the bridge.	Final test using 4 channels on the underside of the beam. Test taken to failure resulting in 38% increase in the beam strength		View on the ends of the rods

Beam with chases cut in the side to accept 2 lengths of 5mm diameter Rotaflex Rod and Rotafix Structural Adhesive	Completed installation of Rotaflex Rod and Rotafix Structural Adhesive		Note Rotafix Structural Adhesive not taken in to the bearing end
